Graduate Success Stories
Oasis graduates are taking China by force. These students have emerged from small communities to participate in the world marketplace in some of China's largest cities. Most Oasis graduates can be found in one of the following cities: Shanghai, ShenZhen, or Beijing. A number of students have found success close to home and have stayed in Pingliang. Brad Wang graduated in 2004 with a vocational school diploma. Brad found a job in the People Resource Market. He is working in Shanghai Youhua Plastic Moulds Co., Ltd. where he is in charge of exporting company products.
Cindy Luan graduated in 2004. Cindy found her job through Shenzhen Job Market. Cindy is working in the Customer Service section of the Q&A Department of Nitto Denko Electronic (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd, which produces FPCs (Flexible Printer Circuit) for HDD, Mobile phones, and some other devices. She is responsible for customer audit and handling customers’ complaints. The customers are from different countries making full use of her English language training.
David Ma graduated in 2004. David located a job through the Shenzhen Human Resource Market. David is working in Dragonegypt International Co., Ltd as a salesman. His primary responsibility is looking for the customers through the Internet and is in charge of importing marble and granite from Egypt and Turkey.
Don Zheng graduated in 2005 with a vocational school diploma and an Oasis certificate. Don found a job at the People Resource Market. He is working in Up – World Industrial Co., Ltd as marketing assistant, mainly responsible for trading in and developing new markets. Now, his company has given him the opportunity of developing a new market in Angola, Africa.
Grace Bai graduated in 2005 with Oasis certificate. She is working in Noble International English Training Center, mainly in charge of service management, building up student’s files, dealing with customers’ complaints, and collecting their feedback.
Louis Liu graduated in 2004 with Oasis Completion certificate. Louis found a job by attending a Job Fair. Louis has worked for two companies since graduation. He worked as an interpreter in Dong Guan Han Optics Co., Ltd, mainly responsible for the company’s document translation, customer service and customer complaints. Now, Louis is working in Sinophil International Development Group Corporation Co., Ltd as the worldwide sales manager, in charge of overseas traders’ development and domestic suppliers’ inspection.
Jill Zhang graduated in 2005 and found her job through the Internet. Jill is working in Shanghai Fengfu International Trading Co., Ltd, where she is responsible for trading both face-to-face and over the phone. She participated in the 98 Canton Fair on October 10th, 2005.
Kent Wang graduated in 2006. He is a Quality Engineer in ASIG Quality Control Service Co., Ltd. mainly in charge of checking the quality of their products, offering quality consults and observing and analyzing their factory. Kent communicates with the management group and their suppliers in both English and Chinese.
Michelle Li graduated in 2006. She is working in Hongfeng (Shanghai) Mechanical Co., Ltd as Manager’s Assistant. She is responsible for English translation.
Russell Liang graduated in 2006 and is studying TOEFL - Test of English as a Foreign Language - in Beijing. His purpose of taking this course is to be ready for his overseas university study.
