Our Students

The make-up of students at Oasis Training Center is becoming more diverse each year.  The majority of Oasis students come from low-income families who would not normally have the chance to go to a traditional university. 

A large number of them are from outlying rural areas in Gansu Province. 

As the Oasis reputation grows, we have begun to attract students from larger cities who have already graduated from traditional universities but wish to improve their oral and written English skills.

After two years at Oasis, students from all backgrounds are finding good jobs in English school programs and businesses.  They are particularly well-equipped to work with international businesses in China and are doing so in many parts of the country, with the majority of graduates being in

• Beijing
• Shanghai
• Shenzhen
• Xi’an
• Pingliang

Among these, eighty percent of them use English and computers in their daily work.  

Their skills are appreciated by their employers and some of them have participated in opportunities their companies provide such as commerce activities, business trips, and job training. Also, some graduates have represented their companies in large-scale fairs, taken a tour abroad, engaged in advanced studies, and worked in foreign countries.
