• Pingliang Connection:

The Pingliang Connection, previously in Beijing, is an annual winter trip that connects Americans with Oasis Grade 1 students for 10 days of touring and fun in the area in and around Pingliang. The next Pingliang Connection will be January 14-27, 2010.

• Summer English Program:

Each summer Oasis hosts an English Program for incoming students and people in the community and we invite native English speakers to join us in teaching. The next summer program will be for 4 weeks in July 5 - August 3, 2010.

• Teaching Positions at Oasis for a year or more:

Staff positions at Oasis with a commitment of a year or more are available each year.  If you are interested in joining our staff, please contact us for more information about positions available and to submit an application. In order to have time to get visas, etc. please begin the process at least 3 months before you hope to join the staff.

• Public School Teaching:

Oasis has begun receiving requests from public schools looking for English teachers.  If you have a bachelor’s degree and English teaching experience, please contact us for more information.  These schools are willing to provide a monthly living allowance and help with travel costs.
