The Oasis Quality of Education

The education offered at Oasis Training Center is unique and thorough, giving students a comprehensive experience that deepens their ability to use the English language in ways not available in much of China. 

Every member of the staff is a native-English speaker, which makes it possible to fully immerse the students in an environment where English is the only language spoken by the staff and students.  This immersion experience helps to greatly improve their skills in listening and comprehension. 

The wide variety of classes, from Geography to Computers to Phonics, provides an increased vocabulary that is used on a day-to-day basis.  A small class-size allows more one-on-one interaction between the teacher and student, providing a more thorough understanding of material and rapid improvement in speech and grammar.

Mr. Chen, an officer in the Foreign Expert Bureau of the Gansu Province, said at the 2006 Oasis Graduation, “The students at Oasis Training Center have an opportunity to learn English that no other student in Gansu Province has – and probably only a half a dozen schools in China have this opportunity.”

While providing a program that is distinctive and successful in the Gansu Province and out into the larger cities in China is a firm goal at Oasis, we also strive to create more and better opportunities for our students once they leave these classrooms and venture outside to find employment and a future.  At Oasis, we work to equip the students to achieve their goals and lead a full and successful life.
